I wanted to take a picture out the window of the guest bedroom to show
what it would look like if company had come a day earlier... it will
probably be gone by the time mother & sister get here.

Hurricane's A Comin'

Ok, so not really. It was just a tropical depression... her name was
Claudette... and I was just on the edge of her down in South
Georgia... and according to my sister "she's dying anyway."

Tear Jerker

Three years of a traveling job and I swear it just gets harder and
harder to leave. I miss my family so much when I'm gone! And having
Dixie look at me like this, following me around, sighing, the whole
time I'm packing doesn't make it any easier.

Made a great dinner tonight that I found on KraftFoods.com. The recipe called for lemon zest. As I found myself standing in the spice isle at the local Kroger.. I thought, "you... idiot..." It dawned on me I've watched enough Food Network to know what to do. So I made my first ever lemon zest and the meal was awesome!

So, I subscribe to alot of blogs... alot of blogs about scrapbooking. If I could, I would scrapbook every single day. It's a great way to just let your mind release all the stresses of every day life, let your creative juices flow and make sure the memories of those special times are there forever.

In a lot of those scrappin' blogs I read, it seems that Scrapbook 365 is the thing to do. It's where you take a picture of something you did - or didn't do - that day, every day.

Now, if I didn't travel... or if I had a good printer where I could print my own stuff... I'd do this in a heartbeat.

So instead, I'm taking the easier way for me - do it online.

Let's see if I can keep it up!
